Today was quite a day, it started out early because I had to drop off my car because of course my air conditioning decided to go out right in the middle of this California Heat Wave, so just think about 100+ temperatures with two small children, it’s no bueno! So anyway after handling that fun situation I rushed home to get back before everyone was awake so I could get breakfast ready.
Once I got everyone fed, I had to get ready for a super fun opportunity. I had the opportunity to go on to Tia Mowry’s podcast MOSTLY MOM for PodcastOne where we had a chance to talk all things Mom! Tia and I go way back, like Dubba Dubba Dubba WB days! 🙂 So it was super fun to chat and catch up, she is truly the sweetest and it is always nice to reconnect with friends. Be sure to check out Tia’s podcast Mostly Mom
After finding out my car was going to be in a while, I had to take back the rental only to get another rental. This time they gave me the Audi Q5, and honestly I have a theory that they give you a nicer car to make you reconsider your “broken” car. But I do love my little Audi A4 Avant, though with two rear facing car seats it is a little tight! Let’s see how I feel after driving it a few days.
Once we finally got home, my little troublemaker was ready and roaring to go. Kenzie has been so good with potty training and of course she went potty and as soon as I turned around I found Hutt grabbing the wet toilet (from Pee) and squeezing it all over the bathroom and by the way he couldn’t be happier. So that was fun! Today was a good mix of Working Lady and Real Life MOMMY! And I couldn’t love it more! How was your Friday?
It’s all about balance, for sure! I’m a teacher and I went to half time this year so my working mama and at home mama time were more balanced. It’s made a world of difference to my two boys! Loving your openness and honesty!

I just started my life with two. Today my daughter is 1 month old! My son is 21 months and we just bought him a potty. I don’t even know where to start with potty training and now I know the fun I can look forward to. Thank you for the honest look into life with kids.
